Mount Gongburi
Mount Gongburi
In Tibetan language, “Gong” means ice and snow.
Legend has it that Tibetan people were born of the sacred monkey and the Luocha Goddess. This is said to have taken place on Mt. Gongburi in Tsetang, and the mountain is considered sacred by the Tibetans.
The SIGIL Tibetan Quartz named after Mt. Gongburi has a clean, narrow and straight column that rounds at the termination point. The pendant is made entirely by hand by the designer, using epoxy putty and copper wire to create an organic, seamless base to showcase the one-of-a-kind mineral. The piece is strung on a 25” stainless steel chain with lobster claw opening.
