Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon: Blue Kyanite #2
Jökulsárlón is Iceland’s jewel glacier lagoon. The lagoon is characterized by the movement of large floating glacier ice in an array of shapes and vibrant blue colors. The ice is calved from the mighty Vatnajökull that then float along the lagoon on their way out to sea.
The SIGIL Iceland Collection II Blue Kyanite piece represents the translucent layers of blue, and the layers of mineral hardness that stand in contrast to the impermanence of the glacier lagoon, which sometimes yields little to no ice.
Kyanite is reputed to have properties as a strong “connector” mineral for transmission of healing energy for the wearer and in bridging gaps in communication with others. It is a grounding mineral.
The deep blue color of the SIGIL Jökulsárlón Blue Kyanite pendant is reminiscent of the icy blue layers of jagged ice washed up on shore of the lagoon, and the famed "Diamond Beach".
Measurements: 5 1/4" long from top of ring to bottom of mineral x 1 1/4” at widest. Soft suede leather cord hangs approx. 15" from knot to top of ring.
All pieces have a reassuring weight to them. Not recommended for children. Avoidance of dropping onto hard surfaces is recommended.

The Iceland Collection Jökulsárlón Blue Kyanite piece measures 3 1/2" from top of pendant ring to bottom of mineral and weighs 1oz. It is worn on a smooth, 1mm thick black leather cord that hangs 14 1/2" from closure knot to the top of pendant ring.
All pieces are shipped inside a protective handmade black linen pouch and hand-pressed SIGIL leather hangtag.
